PICTURES OF THE DAY
Always on the prowl for a different perspective, I was literally crawling within the shrub as in under and through them. Needless to say, these are huge: 6 to 10 feet across and 5 to 6 feet high: some even higher . All have been on the farm in this spot for more than 60 years. Obviously, I’m focusing on the azalea buds allowing what few blooms there are at this very early point in the season to bokeh up the background. It’s a switch from my usual approach which is to emphasize the open blooms. Plenty of time for that in the coming weeks.
See you soon on most of this same blog.
