Pictures of the Day!
It really is the season of color here. Dogwoods, Azaleas, Jasmine, Violets…all blooming at the same time. The opportunities to play one color off another are limited only by one’s willingness to lurk around with camera to find unique perspectives. I had been doing just that for about an hour late in the afternoon when I found this spot behind a low growing, young, wild dogwood in full bloom. In the distance are the Azalea Beds bursting with Reds and Pinks. I waited for the Sun to slowly make its way down in the horizon. I took three shots. Showtime in the Azaleas but the Dogwoods were still backstage. But the composition was where I wanted it.
As luck would have it, the Dogwood caught the light but the Azaleas lost theirs. The third shot proved the charm as the saying goes. Click on “More Flickr Photos”, Go to “Page 2″and scroll down to “A fifth of April”. See you next time on most of this same blog.
