When I see a bank of clouds rolling in off the ocean, I will usually stop whatever I’m doing on the farm; run home and grab the camera, wide angle lens and circular polarizer and dash out to the fields for a few shots. I had taken maybe five shots when I decided to include the old milepost for added interest. The view is due east. The distant tree line on the horizon is about two miles away. The perspective, wide angle, and polarizer makes it look as though the clouds, already rather low, are within arms reach. And to answer your question, yes, we had a storm that night.
See you next time on most of this same blog.
