It was, without a doubt, the most picture perfect day in Eastern North Carolina since the spring. High sky, wonderful clouds, cool temperature (It was in the 60’s) , gentle breezes and fabulous, warm light.
This was taken just before sunrise. The view is to the east toward the ocean. I was starting the long walk back to the house when I thought I’d turn around and shoot one last picture. Glad I did. The pink glow from the setting sun on that huge cloud capped a perfect day of shooting. See you next time on most of this same blog.
