One of the two crimson red camellia varieties we have growing here on the farm. This one has the biggest bloom. Huge. The 60mm lens shows it like it is. Bam! It’s like giving your eyes a B12 shot. I read somewhere that red is used in a lot of restaurant decor because it’s thought to stimulate the brain and the appetite and supposedly increases table turnover. Perhaps that’s why I’m suddenly hungry.
A side note. I don’t usually use filler flash in floral shots but I did in this. I’m pretty pleased with the results. See you next time on most of this same blog.
