The Last Kodachrome

This shot of a Maple Tree resplendent in its bright orange and red leaves was, in retrospect, a fitting goodbye to Kodachrome.  I shot it o with my F100 several years ago on the last roll of Kodachrome I ever bought.  Who knew then Kodak would stop making it!  I shot the same tree this past fall with my Nikon D7000 and the color was gorgeous but you know….there was just something about Kodachrome color.  Paul Simon was right, of course.  “Mama Don’t Take My Kodachrome Away.”  Say it ain’t so Paul.    Have a Great Weekend and Thanks for the look in.
