The Automatic Sunflare

Sunset in Twilight Field last week.  I decided to jazz it up a bit with a flare by shooting at f/22.  Works like a charm every time.  The exposure was aided immensely by a split graduated  neutral density filter.  It allows one to expose on a dark foreground without blowing out the sky. If you like to take landscape shots at dawn or sunset, it really is a must have filter. Have a Great Weekend and Thanks for the Look.

  1. You are the master landscape photographer….I’ve been trying the f22 for shots when the sun is setting or rising…It does give a nice flare…but your tecnique with the ND filter is super fine….really nice work….
