Dawn At The Causeway

The first view of the fields one has here after crossing the causeway across Mosquito Creek.  Look closely in the foreground and you can see where the first 40 rows of Sunflowers have just been planted.  Now, if only we have a few more dawns like this after the Sunflowers bloom.  I am almost salivating in anticipation.

Nikon D700 with 18mm fx lens at f/9, 1/13th of a second, Spot Metering, Manual Camera Mode.

  1. So pretty. I can hardly wait to see those sunflowers is full bloom, but this shot is awesome. Thank you for the camera settings….I’ve been using f 8 for landscapes, and up to f22 for those sunflare shots. Good info…
