Twilight on the Neuse

Another shot taken near Oriental, North Carolina where the Neuse River empties into the Pamlico Sound along the Carolina Coast.   The light is the star here with the blue sky reflected in the almost pristine water.  Have a great week and thanks for the look.

Nikon D700 with an 18-35mm lens set at 18mm.

  1. Your photo stayed with me and while I was catching up on some reading today, I came across an article in National Geographic on “North Carolina’s Outer Banks” by David Alan Harvey, June 2012. The artical had some different views of the banks and I found it very interesting….Your photo should be in this article, I think! It really must be a fantastic place. Sounds like folks live there and just don’t worry about the hurricanes. What a spirit….
