Summer Redux

WELCOME TO MY PHOTOGRAPHY SITE.   If you’re searching for the sales department,  clicking on “John Harding Art Prints” will take you there.

This is a shot of the dawn here earlier this week documenting summer’s return.   This pot boiler of a  dawn set the stage for another very warm day with temperatures reaching to near 90 with the  humidity  not far behind.    I usually use a Grad Filter on shots like this to bring out the foreground but I was putting the new Nikon D600 through its paces and decided to do a filterless dawn shot.  The dark foreground is green cotton.  We’re looking for some relief next week which will be none too soon.  Hope its more fall like where you are.  Thanks for the visit and have a great evening.

  1. Such beauty. I wish it was more like fall here, too, but no such luck. It’s hard to believe it is October and we are having upper 80s and 90s. I am looking forward to Sunday.
