If I were a Painter

We always get the most artistic cloud formations during the winter months here in Southeastern North Carolina.  Usually the best view is to the east where the clouds move in from the Ocean but this is a Northern View.   Taken just before Sunrise earlier this month.  Proof that often the best sunrise view is not toward the sun.   If I were a painter I’d want to do a big canvas of this.   Click on the photograph for a larger view.     A bit of an explanation of what you’re looking at.  the clump of trees to the center right are  Live Oaks in a Civil War Era Cemetery we call Center Grove.  The structures to the left center in the distance are farm equipment repair sheds.   Soybeans are in the field.   Thanks for the look and have a great evening.
