Photo Of The Day: Snowballs on Sticks.

291A_edited-1

A shot of the dawn breaking over a large cotton field in late December.  The low light level makes the cotton look like a field of snowballs on sticks.  Click on the photograph for the large view.  Time was when cotton was strictly a summer time crop in North Carolina but now it’s not unusual to see cotton in the field well into winter.  Another indication of how growing seasons have changed along with the climate.  Thanks for the Visit and have a Great Evening.
