Photo Of The Day: Ox Eye Daisies

342a.editedThese are volunteers which showed up along the edge of the field.  We had planted several acres of these several years ago but gave up on them because they tend to get “buggy” in the North Carolina heat.  They might do better in a more temperate location.  If you  plant them, be advised: these guys spread quickly and border on being downright invasive.  Suffice to say it takes a while to get rid of them as the photograph makes plain.   Have a great evening and thanks for the look.
