It happens often. I will spend a lot of time scouting out a shooting angle or position and wait for the right light and its a bust. Then I’ll just see something like the reeds above in the wetlands here on the farm and shoot it on the spur of the moment without so much as a second thought and bingo, it seems to all come together. Perhaps Photography is a lot like hitting in baseball. As the great Yogi Berra who passed away this week at the age of 90 said once, “You can’t think and hit at the same time.” I get it Yogi.
