The first glimmer of light we have seen since Hurricane Sandy began impacting Coastal North Carolina this past Saturday. This is daybreak this morning showing the cloud cover with the brightness of dawn barely visible along the horizon. We’ve had lots of wind and rain here for the past 4 days but for once, there was no hurricane damage. My thoughts and prayers are with those in the NE USA who took a huge hit from this huge storm.
