Dawn After The Storm

With Hurricane Sandy moving up the Eastern Seaboard, I thought this might be an appropriate shot for the weekend.   This is the moment of sunrise on the Outer Banks of North Carolina between the village of Duck and the town of Southern Shores taken the morning after the last major Hurricane here,  Irene in late August of 2011.   Beach erosion was minimal after Irene and we hope we fair as well this time around.  Thanks for the look and have a great weekend.   If you live along the east coast,  get prepared.  Sandy is nothing to take lightly.
